Winedown this Valentine’s Weekend with an Exclusive 6 Course Tasting Menu

This Valentine’s weekend, dine in style with an exclusive 6-course tasting menu from Winedown.

Winedown has become known for it's incredible seasonal-inspired dishes and mouth-watering flavour combinations, served up in a funky atmosphere on Montague Street, the perfect place for date night. Winedown’s food philosophy is based on sourcing only the finest local ingredients to create a fresh take on some of the classics.  The Valentine’s Day 6-Course Tasting Menu is available exclusively on Saturday 12th February, serving up the very best dishes from Winedown. The tasting menu features the ever popular Asian inspired Beef Skewers with House Rayu, Slow Braised Pork Belly with Pickled Apple, Porcupine Prawns with Lemongrass and Chilli and not forgetting Winedown’s famous super cheesy Croquettes!

The special tasting menu is paired with a carefully curated wine list. Winedown will be giving those opting for the tasting menu the opportunity to experience some spectacular wines rarely found served by the glass. If you’re not in the mood to head out this Valentine’s Day, get a Winedown Dinner Box to-go on Fridays in February. Priced at €55, The Classic Box and The Vegetarian Box each include 6 dishes to be shared between two or if you’re not on the dry it's €75 with a wine-pairing. The 6-course at-home tasting menu for two is comprised of Winedown’s most loved dishes and is available for collection from Winedown Montagues Street on Fridays in February. Think great breads, impeccable cheese, croquettes and modern tapas.

• Smoked Fungi Croquettes

• Grilled Halloumi with Romesco and Grilled Courgette in a Sherry Vinegar Reduction

• Asian Marinated Bavette Steak Skewers, House Rayu and Pickled Ginger • Slow Braised Pork Belly, Celeriac Puree, Parsnip Crisp and Pickles Apples • Chocolate Marquis, Caramel Budino with Chocolate Soil
