The 149th RDS Dublin Horse Show came to a close today (Sunday 18th of August). RDS CEO, Liam Kavanagh confirmed that planning is already underway for the 150th RDS Dublin Horse Show in 2025 (August 6th-10th) which will truly be a national milestone for this world-renowned event. He clarified that while the €50 million reconstruction of the new Anglesea Stand will be underway, next year’s show will continue to deliver the best in equine sport experience for every generation.
Since Wednesday, the iconic grounds of the RDS played host to world-class riders and horses, as over 1,600 horses and ponies descended onto the 43-acre campus over the five days to compete in more than 165 Classes & Competitions with a prize fund over €1.4 million. For the first time, the RDS Dublin Horse Show was part of the Rolex Grand Prix Series adding to the prestige of the event.
The Rolex Grand Prix served as the grand finale of this year’s show with a prize fund of €500,000.
First Place: Martin Fuchs riding Conner Jei from Switzerland
Second Place: Mark McAuley riding GRS Lady Amaro from Ireland
Third Place: Aaron Vale from riding Carissimo 25 from the United States of America
Fourth Place: Daniel Deusser riding Killer Queen VDM from Germany
Fifth Place: Tim Gredley riding Imperial HBF from Great Britain
