Christmas Gift Recipe

Truffles With Bonne Maman Crunchy Hazelnut Chocolate Spread

Makes 12

Ingredients

• 110 g good quality cooking chocolate

• 60 ml heavy pouring cream

• 14 g butter

• 110 g Bonne Maman Crunchy Hazelnut chocolate spread

• A handful of hazelnuts

Preparation

1. Melt 110g of chocolate in a bain-marie. At the same time, place the liquid cream in a saucepan over low heat and bring to the boil.

2. Now that the mixture has hardened, it’s time to make the truffles. Allow one teaspoon of mixture per truffle. Form balls with your palms and place on a sheet of parchment paper. If the balls are not perfectly round, simply let them air-dry for twenty minutes or so, to make them more malleable.

3. Melt 110 g Bonne Maman Crunchy Hazelnut Chocolate spread in a bain-marie for the coating. Place the truffle all the way inside, then place it back on the parchment paper.

4. Decorate with the remaining chocolate and sprinkle with hazelnut crumbs. Allow the coating to harden for a few minutes before tasting.

Tips

• For an extra touch of deliciousness, you can add a crunchy hazelnut to the centre of the truffles.

• Truffles can be stored up to one week in an airtight tin at room temperature.
