Nicky Byrne's New Podcast Reveals Ex-Bandmate Bryan McFadden's Untold Truth About Shocking Westlife Departure

Westlife star Nicky Byrne is launching a brand-new podcast, Nicky Byrne HQ, where he will sit down with top celebrities and public figures to discuss their lives, careers, and the highs and lows that shaped them.

The celebrity-packed podcast promises to give listeners an in-depth look into the personal and professional journeys of some of the most well-known names in entertainment and beyond.

In a special first episode, Byrne will be reuniting with his former Westlife bandmate Bryan McFadden, who famously left the group in 2004. For the first time ever, the two will have an open conversation about McFadden’s departure and its impact on both their lives and careers.

It’s a real moment people won’t want to miss, as they get an inside look into one of the most significant moments in pop history.

Nicky Byrne HQ is something I’ve wanted to do for a while,” says Nicky.

“I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with so many incredible people over the years, and I think it’s time to share their stories in a way that’s raw, honest, and hopefully inspiring. I couldn’t think of a better first guest than Bryan, he had a lot to say! And, I’m looking forward to having some great conversations with many more people down the line.”

As a member of Westlife, one of the most successful boy bands of all time, Nicky has sold over 55 million records worldwide, achieved 14 UK number-one singles, and won numerous awards, including two prestigious BRIT Awards.

Away from the band, Nicky started out in 1995 as a professional footballer with Leeds Utd winning the FA youth cup in 1997.

He has also had a distinguished broadcasting career. He hosted a weekday show on RTÉ 2FM, from 2014 to 2019 and also presented of the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars RTÉ One for 5 seasons.

Nicky Byrne HQ promises to be a compelling podcast series that offers both entertainment and insightful conversations with some of the world’s most interesting figures. Other big names scheduled to appear include musician Gary Barlow, Westlife manager Louis Walsh and  his father in law Bertie Ahern.

With Nicky’s personal connection and broadcasting to many of his guests, listeners can expect candid and heartfelt discussions that go beyond the headlines. Fans can tune in to the first episode of Nicky Byrne HQ featuring Bryan McFadden, available on all major streaming platforms from 10 October.
