Teeling Whiskey have announce that our new Teeling Distillery Exclusive 16YR Amburana Cask, and it's now available. This is definitely not one to be missed!
This exciting new 16 Year Old Single Malt was aged initially in an ex-bourbon cask before being transferred to a high quality Amburana cask for further maturation, giving a full depth of flavour. It is amongst some of Teeling's oldest vintage stock available at Teeling Whiskey Distillery! Amburana is a species of South American Hardwood, that compliments the flavours in our whiskey with notes if cinnamon, spice and carrot cake!
Bottled at cask strength of 57.2% ABV with no chill filtration, resulting in a whiskey of true character! There are only 244 bottles of this exclusive Single Malt available to buy at Teeling Whiskey Distillery and on their Online Shop.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Cinnamon, Coconut, Almond, Marzipan, Hot Apple, Liquorice.
Taste: Baked Apple, Vanilla, Black Cardamom, Walnut, Carrot Cake.
Finish: Long and spicy finish.
