This innovative approach to pizza aligned with the growing trend for health and wellness products, with help fuel the nation.
Emi Takakura, Founder of Slice of Life and Spoond commented: “We wanted to create a pizza that tastes just as good as the most indulgent takeaway pizza but that comes with health benefits, high protein and low calories. More and more consumers want to choose the healthier option, and we’re delighted to bring Slice of Life to the Irish market and beyond!”
Slice of Life is Irish Made - All the vegetables are grown in Ireland; all other ingredients are sourced from Irish suppliers and production has been outsourced to a small company based in Ireland. Slice of Life packaging is 100 per cent recyclable and the company is aiming for net zero by 2030.
There are three flavours in the range – Pepperoni, Cheesy Marguerita and Caramelised Onion and Cherry Tomato - currently available in Tesco and independent stores and 210 Lidl stores from September 1st. The RRP for Slice of Life is €6.95, with seasonal and launch promotions at €4.95.
