Kildare native and New Dimensions Active ambassador lightweight boxer Gary Cully will take to the ring of the 3 Arena on Saturday when he takes on Jose Felix from Mexico before Irish Olympian and one of Ireland’s most renowned sporting icons – Katie Taylor enters the ring to fight Chantal Cameron.
Gary has an enviable boxing record with 16 wins 0 losses and is trained by Katie’s Dad Pete and Niall Barrett in Unit 3. This week Katie herself called out Gary calling him “one of the hottest prospects right now”. She continued “Gary is a huge talent and I think he is going to be a future world champion – he is an amazing talent”.
