I had a bit of fun putting this one together.. what cocktail making should definitely be, fun!
I'm a big fan of Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul's 'Dos Hombres' Mezcal, a unique blend of the finest Espadin agave, hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico. And who isn't a Breaking Bad fan, right? So naturally I wanted to make a cocktail combining the two.
This cocktail is inspired by the Blue 'product' from the Series (I suppose at this point I should point out that drugs are bad, mkay!?) This is a simple, refreshing serve with an excellent Mezcal influence.
Ingredients;
• 60ml Dos Hombres Mezcal
• 20ml Blue Curaçao
• 80ml Tonic Water
• 10ml simple syrup
• 20ml Lime Juice
• 3 Dashes Orange Bitters
• A Few Lumps of Ice
To make the cocktail;
• Add all of the below ingredients into a cocktail shaker or well sealed jar/container and shake well.
• Strain into a glass of your choosing, add ice and enjoy.
• I garnished the glass with Blue Sugar, mainly for aesthetics (easily bought online or made with food colouring and sugar)
