Komfy Krew: Krispy Kreme® and Penneys launch delicious fashion collection!

Run, don’t walk… high street icons, Krispy Kreme® and Penneys, have today announced a brand-new collaboration, launching a collection of fashion, sleepwear, and accessories that are as comfy as they are stylish. 

The collection has now officially hit Penneys stores across the country and will be celebrated this Wednesday 9th with a special showcase event at Krispy Kreme in Swords Pavilions where the public is invited to come and enjoy delicious doughnuts and other surprises. The collection of 19 hero pieces marks a new partnership between Penneys and Krispy Kreme, hitting the sweet spot between comfort and style.

 

From streetwear favourites to pyjamas for cosy nights in, the exclusive collection is perfect for the 90% of Gen Z’s (under 28's polled*) opting for comfort when it comes to serving style.


In fact, the research revealed that Gen Z are the undisputed ‘comfy generation’, with 62% having even worn a hoodie on a night out and 55% saying they would rather wear trainers to the club instead of heels, with a further 60% preferring a comfier option. 

Hot ticket items from the collection include the Krispy Kreme x Penneys sliders - perfect for the 54% of Gen Zs who admit to wearing sliders and socks. 

 

Then for the 70% of Gen Zs who admit that a sweet-treat pitstop is a must on any shopping trip, the rucksack is a great way to carry your new fit as well as a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. 


With the summer season soon approaching, the Krispy Kreme x Penneys bucket hat is expected to be seen at festivals across Ireland - with 39% of Gen Z’s saying it’s THE must-have rizz accessory.

 

Available in Penneys stores across Ireland, prices of the exclusive collection range from €4 to €22, including t-shirts for just €12 and the bucket hat for €10.
