Jameson Black Barrel Selects has partnered with acclaimed Irish photographer Eoin Greally for an exclusive limited-edition run of prints, commissioned as part of Jameson Black Barrel Selects, a new series spotlighting Irish artists and some of Ireland’s top venues.

Jameson Black Barrel Selects is built on a simple but powerful concept: artists from one Irish city selecting the best of their city – from food to pubs to cultural spaces – and even curating the support acts that join them on the night. This initiative offers a unique and personal insight into the creative heart of each city through the eyes of its artists.

From bustling streets to hidden cultural gems, the series celebrates the cities, spaces, and sounds that inspire Irish artists, delving into vibrant Irish subcultures, and offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative forces shaping these talents. The collection was captured around Jameson Black Barrel Selects, a series of live performances featuring CHALK in Deer’s Head, Belfast, Cruel Sister in Whelans, Dublin, and Gurriers in Kodiak, Dublin. Each event was complemented by a carefully curated lineup of support acts, handpicked by the headline artists themselves.

Irish photographer Eoin Greally is known for his evocative documentary and portraiture work. Greally’s lens captures the spirit of Dublin and Belfast, with imagery selected by the featured artists themselves. These exclusive prints are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans can secure a piece of this unique collection by emailing sadhbh@sweartaker.ie.

Eoin Greally is one of Ireland’s most exciting visual artists. His work has graced the pages of Self Service Magazine, British Vogue, Beauty Papers, and Twin Magazine, while collaborations with fashion icons like Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, Richard Malone, and Robyn Lynch have cemented his reputation for capturing striking, authentic narratives.

Commenting on the collaboration, Eoin said: “My favourite type of work to make is usually about Ireland or about people and the spaces that they value the most, and this project was all of that wrapped into one. It was such a privilege to try to capture and understand the places these artists felt inspired by and even more special to release it with Jameson!"

His words encapsulate the essence of Black Barrel Selects – a celebration of the places, people, and cultures that shape Irish artistry.

Jameson Black Barrel returns in 2025, celebrating the vibrant cities, rich subcultures, and talented artists defining Ireland’s modern music scene.
