Irish Actress To Land Iconic Bond Role

According to Ladbrokes, the next Bond Girl is likely to be an Irish Actress.

 

Speculation is mounting after the woman of the moment Nicola Coughlan is rumoured to be leaving hit Netflix series, Bridgerton, with all signs pointing towards movie stardom. She is currently at 4/1 to be the next Bond Girl. 

Also in the running, is Oscar nominated actress Kerry Condon, who shot to fame in The Banshees of Inisherin alongside Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. The Tipperary native is 5/1 to take the coveted role.

 

Cork actress Alison Oliver, best known for her role opposite Barry Keoghan in Saltburn, is on an upwards trajectory in her career and is at 10/1.

 

Actress and writer Amy Huberman is no stranger to the TV screen and may focus more on gaining movie star status at 20/1 to take on the iconic character.

 

TV host Laura Whitmore is honing in on her acting skills as she currently plays a lead theatre role in ‘2:22 A Ghost Story’. She is 20/1 to become the next blonde Bond bombshell and former 2FM broadcaster Jennifer Zamparelli is also in the running at 80/1.

 

Commenting, Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “We’ve had an Irish James Bond, it’s now time for an Irish Bond Girl! The punters are sure it will be an Irish actress to take on the role, let’s hope they’re right!”
