For the first time ever, renowned Dublin-based POP Artist Orla Walsh will launch a gorgeous colourful Pop Up in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre running from 25th April – 25th May 2024 which will mark yet another milestone in her fun-filled and vibrant career!
This exciting venture will allow customers and fans to immerse themselves in Orla’s energetic world as the Pop Up will showcase some stunning new originals along with her most popular limited edition prints and standard prints including the Brown Thomas Bag, Beanz on Toast, Electric Dreams, Hole in One and Love Hearts.
These bright and colourful prints are pure joy, and each piece brings back childhood memories for Orla – many of which are based on original packaging from the 1970’s which come alive in her quirky style.
According to Orla, “Most of my pop artwork is based on items that I have a connection to in my life, specifically from my childhood in the 1970's like the Brown Thomas Bag which evokes memories of Christmas time. I’m so chuffed to launch this Pop Up and can’t wait to meet in person all my lovely customers”, said Orla.
Orla draws and paints every day in her home studio and although she has had her own exhibitions in art studios and has taken part in the RDS Art Source for the last 6 years, this will be her first foray as a stand-alone venture, and she is delighted to find a home in the beautiful Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.
Located just beside the entrance/exit to the carpark and the Pepper Pot Café, make sure to stop by between 25th April – 25th May!
