This Valentine’s Day, Friday, 14th February, Grow Mental Health will host a special fundraising concert, ACTS of BIG LOVE, at Bewley’s Balcony on Grafton Street, Dublin, starting at 5 PM. This free event will feature an outstanding lineup of Irish artists, bringing music and community together in support of mental health.
The concert marks the launch of the Virtual Friendship Rose – a unique way to celebrate friendship and acknowledge mental health heroes while raising funds for Grow Mental Health’s free peer-to-peer support groups across Ireland.
A Celebration of Friendship and Mental Wellbeing
The ACTS of BIG LOVE concert will showcase performances from Garron Noone, The Rugs, Paul Byrom, Luke Clerkin, plus special surprise guests.Concertgoers are invited to enjoy the live music and show support by purchasing a Virtual Friendship Rose, with all proceeds going towards expanding Grow Mental Health’s vital services.
Supporting Mental Health Across Ireland
For over 50 years, Grow Mental Health has provided free, community-based mental health support to hundreds of people weekly. Their peer-to-peer support groups and 12-Step Recovery and Growth Programme help individuals find connection, support, and recovery.“People attending our groups say they have been loved back to themselves through the friendships they have made. Being able to connect and relate to other people, building friendships with like-minded people, is key to well-being,” said Síle Tracey, Marketing, Fundraising and Communications Manager, at Grow Mental Health.
They added: "Friendships keep us healthy, and this Valentine’s Day, we want to celebrate the people who make a difference in our lives. The Virtual Friendship Rose is a meaningful way to show appreciation while directly supporting mental health services.”
