Wildlands, the adventure park for all ages located in Moycullen in Galway has a jam-packed summer planned for guests.
Wildlands at Weekends will bring a range of street entertainment to the park including stilt walkers, acrobats, face painters and live music at scheduled times on Saturdays across the summer. Activity kicks off with local Irish traditional band “Mísc,” on Saturday July 1st.
The fourteen beautifully designed log cabins featuring top of the range appliances have been a huge success since opening their doors to guests in March this year. For those booking into one of the log cabins, Wildlands now offer a complimentary pass for a brand-new activity ‘digital orienteering,’ as well as continuing to get free access to outdoor playgrounds, woodland fairy trails and junior orienteering. A big hit for families who have stayed in the cabins has been all the board games that are left by the Wildlands team in each cabin with stories being shared of very competitive games of Uno and Scrabble!
Faye Bohan of Wildlands said “We are the perfect place for friends and family to gather – get the heart rate pulsing with our Zip ‘n’ Trek, put your team building skills to the test while expanding your knowledge of Irish mythology in our Celtic Challenge Rooms, or if you’re a cabins guest pick up free equipment and explore the ecology that Wildlands has to offer. We are encouraging everyone to discover the wild at Wildands this summer”.
The award-winning on-site restaurant The Olive Tree Kitchen is open every day and with The Wildlands Wagon on site the team at Wildlands are trying to take all the worry out of cooking or prepping family meals!
