Emerald Park's Family-Friendly Treasure Hunt ‘Tricky Trail’ Returns this Halloween Season!

Emerald Park have excitedly announced the return of its family friendly Halloween spooktacular treasure hunt, Tricky Trail which will open on Saturday, 12th of October.

The ultimate Halloween treasure hunt for kids, enjoy a frightfully fun family day out with spooky storytelling, eccentric experiments, magical performances and more! Tickets are available now from ww.emeraldpark.ie.


Upon arrival collect your Tricky Trail map and help find all the lost items, leading to your very own trick or treat at the end, but be prepared for some spooky fun and games suitable for all ages along the way! 

Join in on the Halloween fun, step inside the Ghoulish Graveyard to collect your first clue and keep watch for some friendly ghouls as you go. Be prepared for some of Mad Professor Oswald’s eccentric experiments at the Wizards Potion Room before stepping inside the Freaky Forest of wicked witches hats and Halloween characters!


Brave the Barn of the Beast and meet Winston the Werewolf, before stopping by Helga’s House where she leaves nothing but a path of destruction in her wake! Gathering all the lost items along the way, finish up the Emerald Park Tricky Trail with a visit to the Saloon, the Castle Doom and the Pirate Ship before collecting the ultimate trick or treat bag!

Entry to Tricky Trail is included with all Emerald Park entry tickets on October 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, and 26th – 31st. Enjoy all the attractions on offer and explore the Emerald Park Zoo before heading off to experience the spooktacular Tricky Trail.


Guests can avail of an early bird rate of up to 20% off when you book tickets before midnight, the night before you visit.


Located 20 minutes outside of Dublin, Emerald Park is the perfect day out for all the family this October, offering something for everyone! Younger adventurers can enjoy the ‘Junior Zone’ with Crazy Bus, Balloon Chase, and Lady Bird Loop amongst the attractions.
