Delicious Meat-Free Recipes From New Irish Meat-Free Butchery Range ‘Sons of Butchers’

Sons of Butchers Fajitas

Ingredients: 2 Pack Trick’n Strips 2 Red Peppers 1 Onion Salt Paprika 1 Pack Tortilla Wraps

Optional Toppings: Guacamole, salsa, creme fraîche (oatly have a nice vegan option), chopped tomatoes, refried beans, grated cheese, jalapeño, fresh chilli, or chopped mango. Method: 1. Season Trick'n Strips with smoked paprika and sea salt and fry in olive oil with chopped red peppers and onions. 2. Heat the tortilla wraps in the oven wrapped in tinfoil to prevent them from hardening. 3. Prep all your favourite toppings, lay out on the table so everyone could build their own fajitas. Suggested toppings: guacamole, salsa, creme fraîche (oatly have a nice vegan option), chopped tomatoes, refried beans, grated cheese, jalapeño, fresh chilli, chopped mango is lovely with this mix too. 4. Serve a scoop of the fried thick'n strips on top of a warm tortilla wrap and let people choose their own toppings.

Sons of Butchers Tacos

Ingredients: 2 packs of SOB cheat mince 1 clove garlic, minced 1 lime 1 red onion, chopped 1 avocado, mashed Fresh coriander 3 tomatoes, finely chopped 2tsp tomato paste 2 tbsp taco seasoning Taco shells Olive oil Fresh chillies Method: 1. In a bowl, combine the cheat mince with the tomato paste, garlic and the taco seasoning. 2. Then, heat a large sauté pan over high heat with the olive oil and add the beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper and Cook for 8-10 minutes until cooked through. 3. To serve, warm the taco shells, add some beef mixture, top with mashed avocado, red onion, chopped tomatoes, fresh coriander and chillies. Squeeze over some lime and enjoy!

Sons of Butchers Pasta with Cheatballs

Ingredients: 1 Pack of Cheatballs 150g Pasta 1 jar of Store-bought/Homemade Pasta Sauce Vegan Cheese Basil Black Pepper Method: 1. Place the cheatballs on a tray and bake at 190°C for 14-16 minutes. 2. In the meantime, boil the pasta and heat up your favourite pasta sauce. 3. When the meatballs are ready, stir them into the sauce. 4. Serve the pasta topped with the cheatball sauce, shavings of vegan cheese, cracked black pepper and basil.

Sons of Butchers Burgers

Ingredients 1 Pack Frozen Bluff Burgers 1 small bunch of Kale 1 Pack of Burger Buns For Guacamole: X2 Avocados ½ Minced Shallot Half a Lime Salt and Pepper For Pickled Cabbage: ¼ Red Cabbage 120 ml apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar 120 ml water 1 Tbsp sugar 1 clove minced garlic Salt and pepper to taste

Method: 1. Remove frozen burgers from the freezer. 2. Once defrosted, the burgers can be fried or grilled according to the instructions on the packaging. 3. Guacamole - Mash all ingredients together and adjust to taste 4. For the Pickled Cabbage - Shred Cabbage and all of the ingredients, stir until the sugar has dissolved. 5. Top your burgers with pickled cabbage, guacamole, sriracha mayo, kale, and serve!
