This summer, Cork made BKultured Water Kefir will host four of Ireland’s most exciting music acts against an incredible backdrop; the Atlantic Ocean. BKultured Presents: Waves of Sound, Summer Music Series will be held on a cliff top overlooking Ballybrannigan Beach, a lesser known seaside gem in East Cork.
The music series kicks off on June 24th with award-winning Northern Irish folk singer-songwriter Joshua Burnside. Joshua is an experimental folk singer-songwriter and producer who blends influences from alternative electronica and irish traditional song heritages. He’s described as “the best songwriter in Ireland right now, and probably beyond,” by BBC Sirius XM DJ Phil Taggart.
Later in the summer, music lovers will be treated to intimate performances by cellist and flautist duo Yseult and Miriam Kaczor (22nd July), Rúadhán Ó Deasmhúnaigh, singer-songwriter come storyteller and poet (12th August) and finally the ultimate floor fillin, roof raisin, mega mixin 90s party experience, Attention Bebe (16th September).
The series is hosted by BKultured Water Kefir - the Irish fermented sparkling drink that’s equal parts flavoursome refreshment and gut-loving goodness. BKultured Presents Events are part of the brand’s mission to support its community, culture and the planet too. This summer, the schedule of events includes music gigs, yoga classes and much more.
The gigs take place on the same coastal family farm where both BKultured is produced and its sister business, food trailer Niamh’s Larder is stationed. Both businesses are created by Cork entrepreneur Niamh Hegarty.
