ALDI is celebrating another outstanding year at the Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards, having scooped an impressive 58 medals across all major food and drink categories.
This year’s awards were announced on September 10th at a ceremony held at the Mansion House in Dublin with ALDI’s prize tally including 19 Gold, 21 Silver and 18 Bronze awards across its core range. Once again, a number of ALDI’s gold medal-winning products were produced by Irish suppliers including ABP Cahir, Blackwater Distillery and Dawn Meats, illustrating ALDI’s commitment to working alongside local producers and delivering quality homegrown produce to customers.
Now in its 11th year, the Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards celebrate and reward the finest food and drink products on the Irish market. Each product is subjected to a rigorous judging process and evaluated by an independent judging panel made up of experts from across the food and drink industry. Products are assessed on taste, provenance, value for money and innovation with only the best earning the gold standard of excellence.
